Tanaka

Her name means “beautiful” in Shona; a native language of Zimbabwe.  Tanaka is the daughter of Nyika and Toka, and sister to Tula and Tisa.  Tanaka is an energetic lion who loves to run to the fence to greet whoever comes to visit.  This very friendly lion shares her enclosure with her sisters and also half-brother Sekulu, and half-sisters Samaya, Safiya and Saba.
