The name Samaya has roots in many cultures. In Africa it typically means “oath” or “wisdom”, but in Zambia this word means “heaven”. Daughter of Subi and Toka, and sister to Safiya, Saba and Sekulu, this pretty girl can be fun and mischievous. She likes to stalk her enclosure-mates, taking them by surprise as she springs on them, to play. Samaya shares her enclosure with her sisters, brother Sekulu, and half sisters Tula, Tisa and Tanaka.
