Rizzio (RS3)

Daughter of Rusha and Zulu, Rizzio was born into the Dambwa release site.  She was nicknamed Rizzio early on by the researchers, and it’s stuck!   Rizzio is very pale in colour, but has a distinctive stripey patterned tail, with three distinctive dark rings close to the tip.  Interestingly she also has Rusha’s kink in the tail.  More recently she has earned the nickname of “Batty” by researchers as her rather large and slightly wonkily aligned ears can always be easily identified poking above the grass!  Rizzio is a bold and confident cub, and quite independent of spirit, which has seen her reprimanded and on the pride’s ‘naughty step’ more than once!
