Ritzy (RS1)

Named Ritzy by the researchers, she is the daughter of Rusha and Zulu and is one of the lions born into the Dambwa release pride.  She certainly takes after her mother, not only in looks but in her nature.  Ritzy is identifiable by the Bindi spot she has on her forehead, and a dark line of fur that goes down the centre of her forehead.  Ritzy has always been a very playful and social lion, making her a very popular member of the Dambwa pride.  She’s not the boldest lion but she has always held a special place in Zulu’s affections.  This might be due to their shared interest in vulture-spotting!
