Leya

Named after the indigenous Leya people in the local area. Leya is mother to LE1 and LE3. She is a fairly dominant female within the pride and a phenomenal hunter! Where she leads, most of the time, the rest of the lions will follow. Although more sociable since having her cubs, she can still be slightly aloof at times. Along with sister Loma, one of Leya’s favourite pastimes is vulture watching.
