Lamu (LE3)

From Free! / month

Son of Leya and Zulu, and brother to Loita (LE1), Lamu is named after a small town on Lamu Island, which in turn is part of the Lamu Archipelago in Kenya. Kenya’s oldest continually inhabited town and one of the original Swahili settlements.  Physically, Lamu is larger than his brother and more golden in colour.  He also has a distinctive notch in his right ear.  He’s also arguably a bit lazier than Loita!  When the pride decide to move, Lamu is often the last to follow.   Keen to use his fellow pride mates as pillows, Lamu can typically be found fast asleep lying across his Dambwa family whilst he snores gently under the Zambian sky!  When he’s awake, Lamu is a very social and playful lion.
