Kasama

Kasama shares her name with the city based in the Northern Province of Zambia.  When she arrived at Livingstone as a cub, she was super-fluffy!  Kasama is a very affectionate and friendly lion.  She’s also quite a dominant presence amongst her enclosure mates, Kovu, Nkoya, Nembwe and Namwala – and especially where food is concerned!  Nothing gets between Kasama and her dinner!  She is very closely bonded with Kovu.
